We go where you go, no matter how remote the location.
Namibia is bustling with international film productions and the need for highly functional remote camps to serve all kinds of functions, and Cowboys has become Namibia’s go-to for setting up these remote camps.
We’ve set up fully-equipped tented camps for various international productions including Die Wüstenärztin, Mad Max: Fury Road, The Mummy, and the series Strange New Things. We’ve been on a 10-day tour with Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, and James May, setting up luxury tented camps in a new shooting location every day for 55 people. And in the middle of nowhere, we still supplied fresh vegetables on a daily basis – as well as the all-important ice cubes for their ‘wrap party’ at the end of the shoot. We were the ones they called to clear Mozambican plane crash site in north east Namibia’s Bwabwata National Park. And when the international team came out to ‘deep, dark’ Africa, they found themselves in full luxury camps with hot running water, washing machines, and full plates of traditional cuisine like eisbein and pork knuckles and German imported beer.
From luxury beds and hot running water to mountains of delicious food, we’ll set it all up, run all the logistics, and thrive on any challenge you throw our way.
